About us

A tailor-made service for the discerning parents and carers of those with SEND.

What makes us different?

Award-winning unparalleled experience of the complexities around advising the families of vulnerable dependents.

Rhiannon’s private clients benefit from her time, attention and bespoke advice on a face-to-face or remote basis. She co-ordinates trusted professionals to form a joined-up team, with one point of contact.

In 2023, Rhiannon developed the Special Needs (SENDFA) Pathway, which she has taught and presented on within the industry. She regularly consults on the subject of SENDFA and planning for the disabled with financial advice professionals and providers.

Home office: Bristol
Works from: Bristol and Exeter

With more than two decades in the finance profession, Rhiannon has the knowledge and experience to deal with even the most complex of circumstances - not to mention the ability to explain it all without using overwhelming amounts of jargon. Her advice draws on her own experiences as mother to a profoundly autistic son.

Rhiannon specialises in advising the families of the vulnerable, the use of family trusts and the management of trustee investments. She creates tailormade Special Needs Plans for clients and their families, and co-ordinates the ‘team of professionals’, including solicitors and professional deputies.

She is a Chartered Financial Adviser, Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, holds the Certificate in Discretionary Fund Management and the Certificate in Long Term Care Insurance (CF8.) Outside of work, she is the Chair of Governors for a local authority special school.

Rhiannon can help clients with:

Trustee investing

Estate management and protection

Succession planning with pensions

The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds selected and may fall as well as rise. You may get back less than the amount invested.

Trusts are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

What advice looks like.

Every family is different. We’ve been in the profession long enough to know the common challenges and opportunities that exist. But we’ll always work closely with you to alleviate your worries and build a future plan you can feel comfortable with.

  1. First, we’ll find out all about your goals and concerns - what are we trying to achieve together?

  2. Then we’ll assess where you are now, and what the gap looks like.

  3. After this, it’s time to put together the right set of services and people- which we’ll explain without any complex jargon.

  4. Finally, regular reviews means we can keep a close eye on how your plans are performing and stay up to date with your changing circumstances and needs.

Rhiannon is excellent at cutting through the jargon and explaining fully what things mean and how they work in practice. Her core strength though, I believe, lies in her ability to truly listen.

Specialist advice for families living with disability

As a mother of a child with autism, Rhiannon knows all too well the challenges that face parents who are also carers.

How will you ensure that your child is looked after when you’re no longer here? How will you give them the financial support and protection they need? And how can you figure it all out when you’re juggling so many other responsibilities?

That’s why we offer a range of specialist support, from webinars and events to bespoke financial planning services.
